My Xperia Problems

Hello everyone!

I don't know where to post this so I just post it here,

I just make a feedback of what's wrong with my phone.

so....

1)When listening to music with earphones, when I get a SMS or phone call the music stops and the phone rings, but not in earphones, is it a bug?

2)also I have wifi problems sometimes when I enable wifi it doesn't connect automatically to the access point.

3) When I use the phone on silent mode, it's not silent in the apps,

4) i'm on 4.0.4 ICS 6.1.b.0.544 firmware (certified Aug 23, available for download sept 17), I see 8 new firmwares since then no one for me ?

I think that's all for now, don't remember of other problems, i'll edit if I find another one

Hello,i will answer some of your questions.

1.The phone has to be on silent mode for the phone to ring in the earphones.

2.These problems appear to many people,icluding me.Sometimes it connects,sometimes it doesn't.It depends on the router and on the correction of your ics installment.

3.The apps don't have the same volume as the phone,you can mute them either in volume settings,where is the first bar,or in the apps or games themselves,while the sound is playing.

4.The firmwares you see there could not be officially released for sony xperia p worldwide,they could belong to some specific networks.

so to answer to you:

1) in silent mode notifications are just "silent"

2) ok...

3) ok...

4) so why don't they tell us which kernel is for which country / operator ?

ps: I found out that when I plug earphones and music starts with smart connect (liveware) phone still rings when music is playing, but if I stop the walkman and listen to Deezer, then the phone rings in earphones :smileyshocked:.

this is a tip for developers, i'm still on 6.1.b.0.544, I saw 6.1.1.b.0.253 but I don't know if I can upgrade and can't find any info about it
