My sony ericsson xperia x10 has the redlight on but it isnt blinking

Lately my xperia x10 didnt charge and the red light always blinked 3 times or 1 time but right now when connected to charger the red light is on without blinking.. what do these 3 red light signals mean?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

This means that the battery needs to be charged.

Have you tried letting it charge for a few hours? If that doesn't help, try another charger if possible.

Hi and thx for the help. The xperia is charging and turned on after a while but now if i dont stretch the cable of the charger the mobile wont charge.. i tried 2 more chargers and a usb and the same has to be done... can the problem be in the charger/usb port of the phone?

Hard to say for sure but i'm afraid it does sound like a problem with the USB-port in the phone. See if there's any dust or dirt in it but if that's not the problem your phone needs be sent to service. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.
