My Ray is not responding, what can I do?

My problem is, after my Ray enters into sleep mode, the phone is not responding at all regardless I pressed the power button, home button, screen, whatever.  The only way to get my Ray returns to work is to take out the battery and re-install it.  Is there any solution / suggesting to this?

you can try software update using Sony Update Service but it may update your phone to ICS 4.0.4.

maybe it is due to software fault..

you can try enter the safe mode,see if it works:

-Power off and on phone, when you see the Sony Ericsson text, tap the Menu button repeatedly until it boot up.

-let your phone sleep (push power button once) then wake it (push power button once),see if it works.
