Just for testing purpose i fully charged my Xperia until 12am and put it on standby and went to sleep, When i woke up at 9 am the remaining charge was 70% when i woke up, i wouldnt greatly mind it if it wasnt for the report saying most of the power went to display.. How could that happen when its on standby.. Could turning off the Bravia engine help..? and as you can see the second is taken by cell standby..!
Just tell me is this Normal, Common, acceptable as this is my first android phone..?
Update:
Arunkmr, you need to find what's setting the "awake" lock. The battery drain comes from your CPU being forced to stay awake instead to going to deep sleep. Have a look at app running in background. You can get an app to list the lock.
In my case, bougyes wi-fi was causing the mess.
Hello,
could you give me the application name?
Thx,
That one.
It's meant to connect to bougyes hotspot, and was trying to connect all over again.
Mails apps, music apps, and other app like task killer, battery stats app and others app that run some backgroud task are the most likley culprits for this.
Thank You and have a look at this everything looks fine right, But the charge still drops through overnight , i guess i will have to learn to live with that..
And for all people with a similar problem, It seems that Xperia Home was sucking a lot of battery all the time, atleast in the indian version of the software (Thanks to GoPowermaster), and hence replacing the Homelauncher with others such as Launcher Pro seems to improve the situation, atleast for now i think.. Please try out and tell me a..
Maybe a whipe / pcc reinstall is in order then.... Xperia lancher don't seams to have any effect with my sola (italian rom flashed with flashtool doing a wipe)
I did that already and what are your thoughts about this report... Does it seem normal..?
Yes. Sounds good.
