Hello. I just found yet another problem with my new Xperia S on top of connecting the phone to my PC via USB (works about once every 10 tries).
My music player doesnt update its playlist. I had some music on the phone, deleted it, but the music player still keeps the tracks listed and when Im using shuffle it sometimes chooses songs that are not present on the phone anymore. I tried to google this problem and the solution was to delete cache in my application manager. When I open the application manager and select the music player, I cant delete cache data, because the option is grayed out and cant be selected. When I try to delete the songs within the Music player, nothing happens. I long tap on the song name, choose delete, then confirm it, but the item stays in the playlist.
Any advice appreciated.
I have found that the info is still there and what I have to do is connect it to my PC look in the music folder or where ever you keep your music and delete from there,
As for your cache I use a free program called 1 Tap Cleaner to remove my cache
As for the playlist I can't help there but it may be a case of deleting that playlist and making a new one but as I said I can't be sure on that
I got the same problem on my phone. I have several playlists created in MediaGo. I added them to the phone and when I disconnected it and opened Music player, they were just NOT THERE! Then, I connected the phone to PC and open MediaGo to see what happened, those playlists were STILL THERE in the phone windows.
Have checked through the web for issue like this and some sources said that it's because of the MTP bug and suggested that the phone should be restarted after sync. Well, I restarted my phone and nothing happened. So I guess bug hasn't been fixed yet. Could be worse anyway...
I'm aware of this and I have sent feedback about it before.
What if you reboot the phone? Will your playlist appear and/or deleted songs disappear?
Rebooting the phone didn't solve the problem. There's still no playlist. I have tried several times and all the results are the same. Hopefully there will be a solution soon.
yea....because of this problem i have to transfer my music via slow bluetooth....:smileyangry:
Same problem here hoped it would have been fixed after another update..ohh well, next time then hopefully.
