MT15i (Neo) is in the SI list but no update is available

I have noticed that my MT15i Neo's SI was added to the SI list 20 days ago. See http://talk.sonymobile.com/community/support/xperia2011/neo

Xperia Neo (MT15)1246-99024.1.B.0.5879/4/2012

However, no update is available through either PC Companion or Update Service. Ny Neo is currently running .431. Who/what could be holding it back and why?

The phone was somewhat branded by the seller/provider (Telia (dk)) - meaning that they put their own start page in the browser. Does this mean that the phone is branded and that I have to wait for them to release/approve it? All previous updates have been provided with no delays or problems.

Yes, it sounds like you have to wait for Telia to release its own version of the update.

Just got word from Telia. According to them they have no part in this. It's up to Sony.

Hmm, this sounds strange.

Could you please PM me with as much info as possible more or less, such as IMEI, SW version, Build no, model name etc etc, and I can take this further and try to see what might be the issue.

Thanks in advance! Slightly_smiling_Face

FYI: Even though .587 is available for phones wity my SI according to the list, the update is still not available according to PCP and/or US after being on the list for more than a month. Other people have noted similar things in this forum.

Please... Are you sure everything is working as intended over there?

Update... well, nothing new. Still, after more than 2 months on the list, there is no update available in PC Companion or Update Service (says phone is up to date).

And no replies from Sony even though you've got 2 PMs with the information you have requested.

Do I need to root/unlock (void my warranty) in order to get software updates (manually)? If yes, the so be it, but please stop ignoring this (and could you the point me to a description on how to do this safely, yes I know how to Google but the results are 100 different descriptions).
