More Problems with signal

I get an issue with the phone saying no service in the lock screen, but with signal bars shown when you unlock. Also if you go into about phone, it says unknown network. This happens a while after restarting the phone.

I have tried a replacement sim card and also get the same problem in another xperia go and a sola running .184 update. Have tried repair through sony update.

This is on vodafone uk pay monthly.

Dont seem to get it using vodafone payg sim though.

The phone seems to be able to make/receive calls still.

Very frustrating issues with Sony mobiles.

Hmm, sounds strange..

This only happened when using one kind of SIM-cards from your operator?

In that case it must be related to the SIM somehow.

Check with your operator for further info!

The phone is showing no service on the standby screen, but does infact have signal indication bars and calls work. Therfore is more likely to be a phone software issue seeing as the orginal sim was pretty new and the replacement sim doesnt rectify the problem.?

Also, the network will be no help in troubleshooting such an issue, as the phone is not simlocked and technically works (makes and receives calls).
