After using my phone in the waterfalls, it got moist in the front/rear camera lenses as well as in the flash lens.
After a while, moisture was gone, front camera is working fine, but I'm getting a black screen when using the back camera. Then, after few hours, both camera is not working anymore and I'm getting "Error: Camera not available" when opening the Camera app. Also, tried using a Flashlight app, and it's not working.
I tried clearing cache/data of Camera app, resetting the phone and even "Repair my phone" through PC Companion. But still no luck, still not working.
Got a VIP card, but it says in the website that it can be used only within 1 year from date of purchased. Can anyone confim this??
Thanks a lot!
Sorry to hear that, contact your local Xperia Care and request a vacuum test

The longer you use the phone the more damage you could cause, this is a hardware issue, not software.
Hi icy11,
I agree with Uliwooly on this, only Sony Mobile within your region is going to be able to provide information regarding the remaining warranty on that device.
Let us know how you get on.
Can you check one thing before sending it to repair? Do you have google now enabled?
Disable google now,see if camera opens normally.
Sorry. I think I don't have Google Now installed. Even flashlight apps are not working because of the flash lens. So I think it's not an app-related issue.
Thanks for all your help! I'll just contact the customer service agent here. Thanks!
Google now should be there, enabled or disabled. Anyway, keep us updated.
