Hi,
I have recently updated to 6.1.1.B.1.54. I am now experiencing problems regarding Mobile Data and use of Tethering.
Here is the scenario:
- Turn on Data Services ; Mobile Internet works properly (albeit a little bit slow)
- Turn on USB / Wifi Tethering ; Mobile Internet AND computer's internet connection does NOT work (or sometimes it works for a few minutes then will suddenly stop)
- Turn off USB / Wifi Tethering ; Still does not work OR if wait around a few minutes, mobile internet will WORK again.
Has anyone encountered the same issue as mine? I am pretty sure it is no longer with relation to data coverage since another person in our house uses the same network and mobile internet plan and it is working properly and consistently (he is using Windows Phone though).
Sometimes when I turn on Tethering, it says "Error occured during tethering" of which I turn off and on the tethering again, but still it does not work.
How can I remedy this problem?
I have exactly the same problem as you are mate. I just updated my phone today.
No reply by a Sony person yet?
I'm not able to replicate this issue, could you please confirm if this problem remains after reinstalling the phone software using SUS?
