Hi.
I have updated my z3 LTE tablet for the long awited Lollipop.
The main reason for my upgrade is multiuser/profile support.
After the update it seems like multiuser support is now added but profile/restricted Profiles is not supported. Which is a big drawback for families with kids😢
Sorry to hear that
I'm not sure but to the best of my knowledge, Nexus 7 LTE doesn't have any dialer and can't place calls.
Perhaps you could try downloading an app locker instead? There are some app lockers in Google Play which can be used to put a lock on specific apps.
Thanks @Richard
Any change you can bring my request back to the sony dev team and/or tell me where to send my request for this feature?
is anyone in here runnnong cm12 or asop 5.X?
if so please let me know if there is support for resticted profiles with the LTE version
If thats the case, I would need to root and remove all sony related apps 😞
That's what i did but the information i got is that support for it has been removed by Google in devices with mobile data connection and dialer so there's nothing more i can do i'm afraid.
What if you flash SGP611 firmware on your device and give it a shot?
This is how to flash
/t5/Xperia-Z2/How-to-manually-update-downgrade-root-2014-Xperias/td-p/593459
and you can get the FTF file here
http://xda-fix-android-forum.blogspot.com/2015/03/lollipop-ftf-file-for-wifi-sgp611-16gb.html
I will try that.
But the propperly means no LTE support.
Flash it but exclude baseband
How do I exclude baseband?
