Missing 3D Camera App

I have a four-day old Xperia TX. I cannot seem to find the 3D Camera app in my app drawer, but it appears in Settings -> Apps. How do I use my phone's 3D Camera/make it appear in the app drawer? The 3D Album is missing too. I have upgraded my ICS shortly after my phone purchase.

I noticed we still have this in the 'Apps' section of Settings... yet no way of using it.

Same here.

They said that probably it will be fixed in the next update (that they don't know when it will be released)...

We'll see.

Unfortunately the 3D camera is not supported in Xperia T, TX and the instructions in the users guide are unfortunately a mistake and will be corrected. The app exists in the system but unfortunately it's not supported by the phone.

But the phone supports viewing of 3D images on a TV. Too bad that older models support shooting in 3D.

Thanks for the wonderful new from Sony... you sell a product with an information that it's not true, because one of the most impressive about this phone was the camera and the 3D camera.

One of them, does terrible pictures, and the other one it was a fake. How nice... this is a good way of selling, isn't it?

1).... maybe a CFW will fix what Sony is totally unable to fix

2).... time to explain this fake on the net.

I'm no expert but surely to shoot 3d you'd need two front facing cameras anwyay like the HTC Evo?

I would say that this phone support 3D camera. Just search on the net.

Obviously, if sony wishes to fix this issue and other ones that the camera has, like the bad qualiy of the pictures.

I think the question is... will sony fix this, and add the 3D again (like other firmwares on the net) and fix the camera to get decent pictures or will not listen to the costumers?

what a bummer, any word on adding this feature to the T/TL/TX

It is unreal, they sell a product with a feature that then, after they sell lots of phones, they say that it is not supported!!!, that is called LIE TO THE COSTUMERS.

As I said before, thanks God, there are people making good work with this phone, not like Sony.

With a few more time, we will see REAL GOOD PICTURES and other things that for Sony are "not supported" in this phone.

Come on!, they don't even know all what this phone is able to do!!!

Anyways, would be REALLY GOOD  if they learn from other companies.

I'm almost certain that this phone it's more than capable of taking 3D panorama and 3D multiangle pictures, it might not be added so that feature could be add it to another phone (as a selling point)
