No it didn't. Car says mirror link application cannot be found in your device.

Hi,

Your Z3 device firmware Audio/Video Center should start with JR. Check that you have installed the latest firmware version from:

Home -> Audio/Video Center -> Settings -> Firmware Version. Please contact the application vendor for more information about their application. I´m at disposal for any question.

MirrorLink has been broken since the first lollipop update for this phone. Any KitKat ROM works flawlessly with my car's unit, anything after it, not at all. I have already submitted a log to @Rickard a few weeks ago from the .546 build but it looks like it hasn't been very helpful since it's still broken in the latest .232 update. Attached is also a video what it does for me. Basically, the car unit recognizes the phone, the phone recognizes the car unit, but launching any apps from the car unit in the phone launches them for a split of a second and immediately closes afterwards, thus MirrorLink functionality is there, but it cannot actually be used for some reason.

@barış

Sorry to hear that.

If you go to Settings -> Apps -> All, do you see "MirrorLink", "MirrorLink Service" and "MirrorLink System" in the list of apps?

Have you modified the phones software in anyway (rooted it)?

Which MirrorLink device do you have in your car?

@user91

I actually got news in your case today.
Our developers have found the mismatch and are working on a solution. They can at this point however not confirm when a solution will be available but as soon as i have more information i will let you know.
But MirrorLink is not broken in general in Z3. The mismatch you're seeing is a quite specific case.

The car is Citroën berlingo 2015 and no I didn't root my phone ever and yes three of them available in apps/all.

On another forum for owners of Berlingo i found a user who says it works with Z3 after downloading a MirrorLink enabled app. Could you check so that you have downloaded and installed a MirrorLink enabled app? See this page for MirrorLink enabled apps: http://www.mirrorlink.com/apps

Hello @Rickard! Has there been any update on this? Or is a fix to be expected only when the upcoming Marshmallow update comes out?

Thank you!
