i own sk17i from gujarat i have only one major issue which is at night when the phone goes in sleep mode for a longer span of inactivity even if its on and in sleep mode any caller from the other side finds my phone "switched off" but as soon as i activate my phone when i wake up in the morning again it resumes normally.
this is very problematic in case of emergency if anyone tries to call me at night!!!
thanks for your help in advance!

hi there... guess what even after replacing the mobo the sleep mode switch off issue was persistant! but after updating to ICS the problem has been solved! I believe its a wierd GB issue which Sony should look into.
this FYI.
Thanks for all the help though.

hi there uliwooly,
guess what no signal issue is still there even after REPLACING THE MOBO and UPDGRADING TO ICS 4.0.4. this typical issue happens usually in early morning when the phone has been idle for long time.
I went through other forums and lot of people are having same type of issues on different phones like nexus, samsung, htc, etc. because of the new os decrease minimum cpu usage level in order to save on the battery which adversly results into signal loss.
I guess this is an Android Issue which they need to fix urgently or they are inviting Class Action Law Suite very soon.
If you have contacts in Andriod dev team please inform them and ask them to chk other forums like XDA,etc. and fix this issue very soon!
I guess I have no choice and am just going to bear with the issue till they solve it or someone forces them to solve it.
thanks.
