micro sd card read issue

I  am using Sandisk Ultra 64 GB microSDXC UHS-1 in my Z1 , but recently unable to read mp3 files  and video files saved in  my microsd card. when open the album and movie app. some black square box appear and it freeze the phone.

I remove the sd card and put into pc, the video file and audio file and found no problem.i try on other phone also found is ok.

2 weeks ago  My Z1 suddenly unable to detect  the micro sdcard and I need to reformat it and back to normal .

Please help it is a phone issue or card issue?

If you say the card is ok in other phones and in your pc,it is something from the Z1.Try to repair phone software with sony update service.

It is still the same problem after repaired . the sony app such as movie,music and album are poor in handling the media and photo file. I give up to trying . try 3rd party app works better.  I wont consider to buy sony mobile phone again.

I do have the same Sandisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC UHS-1, and NEVER encountered any issues on read/write.

I think the problem is in your memory card.

Yes,it should be the microSD card.Sandisk produce quality pieces,but of course issues appear.

As mention before try the card in other phone and pc is work fine. Try Samsung 32g class 10 in Z1 still face same problem. Reset the phone to original setting still encounter same problem. All the 2 cards works fine before use in Z1. I think Z1 have the read issue on sd card. Will try to reformat the SanDisk card again. So far no response from Sony support team? The Sony app such as Walkman,album and movie give me headache when open them. The phone turn black and freeze at least 20s and back to normal but not playing the media file.

same prob works sd card works fine in computer,reads everything but my xperia st26 stopped readind the sd card 2 days ago....same thoughts on buying a sony again ..NO....just got phone back from repair for a screwed up speaker....now this...also when you plug the phone into a external stereo through the headphone jack into the stereos aux in, sonys dont allow full volume through the stereo....now my phone is usless at work when i try to listen to music,cause its too quiet ,samsung was great till i smashed the screen
