Messaging problems

I just updated my phone and i followed all the rules, after i opened it i checked if the apps are working, everything was working except for the messaging, the problem is i opened the msg app then i open a conversation then it said the messaging app is not working. Pls help me ASAP. Thanks and have a good day!

Try force restart the phone(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).You know,the update could have gone a little wrong,case in which you need to repair phone software.You could also try force stop messages app in settings-apps-all.

thanks but it still wont work :'( i think I need help from the admins :'(

Go to Settings - Apps - All scroll down the list and find messaging, Open it and touch on Clear data and if available Clear cache - Reboot your phone and check to see if it's fixed - Failing that you may need to run a settings reset via Settings - Backup and reset then at the bottom Settings reset - This will not delete anything on your phone - If that still fails then your only option is to run a repair - Admins will tell you the same thing and if that fails then you will be advised to seek out a service center
