i updated my phone to 2.3.4 and set all my arrangement on menu and restarted and it retained my settings and i became happy that update fixed it but no it made it more worse because this time another thing brings the menu dearrangement ..... connecting the phone memory card with computer ... yes ...when i connect my phone over mass storage then everything is fine but today i connect my with pc companion and it said to tap on connect phone memory card so i follow and all the folders on my homescreen which have applications installed on sd card disaapear and then i thought after disconnecting will come back but no... it also dearranged my application drawer and all the applications in SD card are dispersed...

to confirm the problem i rearranged all and again connect over "connect phone memory card" and same thing happened... but turning on or off now don't cause the problem...

and wifi problem is still there .....

SE you can't fix the problems and there is no folder option in application drawer so when this thing happens then it's annoying to again rearrange all those applications...

try to move the apps to your SD card

settings -> applications -> manage applications -> on SD card -> move them all

I haven't experienced this issue at all, but then again, I have all my apps on my SD card

i've all my applications on SD card except those which can't move to SD card...

This thing happens when i connect the phone in "connect phone memory card"... you can also put some shortcuts of SD card spplications on home screen to exactly match my condition....

I'm doing that right now, and I can't recreate your issue, I would backup everything, then repair your phone with Update Service w/o the SD and SIM cards

then see if the bug/issue continues, if it does then it might be the firmware version that you have

another alternative will be to use flashtool and flash the global generic firmware but try to repair your phone first

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

download the backup & restore app, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

Contacts

just to play it safe sync your contacts w/ google if you haven't already

open your phonebook

press MENU button -> tap on Send Contacts -> select all -> send it to your email

on your computer

-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

Apps

Don't worry so much about backing up your apps

on your computer go to

market.android.com -> log in -> click on My Library -> and send all your apps to your phone
