Magnetic Charger Problem

Helloo..

I just use the Xperia Z2 about 1 and half month.

The performance of the phone is great compare to my previous Xperia ion.

However, now ifacing some problem withe magnetic charging.

When use the magnetic charging, it seem the device was not charge.

The LED at the top will blinking after it was connected to magnetic charging.

Just facing this problem yesterday, and the first experience cause my phone cannot be turn on,

But after connecting to usb cable to my computer, it can be turn on. Thank god.

Anyone have this issue? Is that the problem come from the device? (both Magnetic charging cable and Magnetic charging dock have this issue). Is this problem covered by the warranty??

Currently I'm not in plan to try software repair, i want to try other solutions first. If no any solutions i will try to factory reset later.

Factory reset is not really the same but ok.Try to boot in safe mode and see if like that it charges:

Is there any lost data for this reboot mode?

No,the thing about safe mode is that it will load only default apps.

FYI this is the same issue i have,

I have taken mine back and they have sent it away for repair.

Even after doing a full factory reset still did nothing to fix the issue,

even plugging in the normal charger after this issue happen had issues that when it would go on standby/screen turns off it doesnt come back on.

When i get my phone back i'll ask what they did to fix it.

I forgot to update, the phone still cannot charge even in safe mode.

If send to sony centre is the only solution, i will send it for repair.

You should indeed do that.

Issue may be ralated to the charging cable. try to replace and check with a better magnetic charging cable.
