So I bought a sony m4 aqua half a year ago. It's been doing whatever it wants all along. I used to just give me a black screen. The only way to fix that was to force reset it. It kept happening, but then it went away. Then the phone started restarting itself. It doesn't ask for a pin code afterwards though. It's performance is also poor. I don't know, maybe that's just the way it is with this model. The mic is bad too. People usually can't hear me. Especaly if I'm in a public place. It overheats too sometimes. I have taken it for warranty repairs for a couple of times. They said they replaced the whole inside, it even got a new imei. Problems were the same. Took it there again. Not sure what they did, it didn't help. I was adviced to replace my sim card. I did that. Didn't help at all. Not even sure what I'm supposed to do now. Any advice?
P.s I do not recomend buying this phone.
Hi @Ignacianas,
Welcome to the community.
If they have replaced the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and you have a new IMEI, you essentially have a new phone. It is unlikely going to be a physical issue in this case unless they have replaced it with a faulty PCB, which is unlikely.
The issues you are currently experiencing could be caused by a third party application that is not optimised for this handset. I would recommend you test the device in Safe Mode and see if the issue still persists.
