Android 6 Xperia z5 premium turn off, restart.

Phone since android update (WiFi) version 6, freezes, turn off, restart. It does not respond on the charger when turn off. It helps to just reboot using the volume and on/off button, then all again some time working. Repair phone by re-upload software using Sony PC Companion nothing changed.

I have the same problem after updating to Marshmallow. I have the Z5P for just two days and it happened twice already. First it slows down then becomes totally non-responsive until the screen fades slowly and then restarts. On both occassions, it happened after I transferred some files via NFC android beam. I don't know if it's some bug in Marshmallow or a hardware defect but I hope Sony is paying attention to it. It freaks me out to know that an expensive flagship smartphone like the Z5P is having such basic stability issues. For now, I'm keeping my faith in Sony. Please do something it!

Welcome to the community.

@xperiazpięćpremium It sounds like the update may not have installed itself correctly, or there are some apps that are not optimised for Marshmallow conflicting. Try the phone in safe mode and see if there is any difference.

@stealthfighter I recommend you perform a software repair on your handset as it is likely to resolve the issues you are currently facing.
