lte signal

Anyone experiencing weak phone signal? Is this just a network issue or an issue with the phone itself?

Your phone calls will work on the 3G network - Mobile internet if available in the area will either work on 4G/LTE or 3G but this is network dependant due to mast locations

By weak phone signal, do you mean 2G or 2.5G? Kinda **bleep** when you're in an enclosed space. I wish operators can invent high-penetration LTE signals in the future Slightly_smiling_Face

The best way to test this out is to get another phone on the same mobile network and check the signal at the same location. If both phone support the sage 4G network but one phone is gonnected to 3G instead, then something could be wrong with that phone. Check the network settings on the phone or bring phone to the mobile operator to report the issue.

Please also bear in mind that if you drop LTE signal it can take quite some time for the handset to pickup signal again.

I've had no problems with LTE reception with my D6503.

In my experience, I find my Z2 is much stronger at LTE reception than my previous ZL, Z, and SP.

All LTE variants.

For example, traditionally, all my previous Xperia's could not receive LTE at my household.

Yet the Z2 can.

Just confirming you have LTE/4G (preferred)/WCDMA/GSM selected in:  Settings/More.../Wireless & networks/Mobile networks/Network mode/Preferred network mode
