Hi new to this forum, first post here, after a flawless one week using xperia ultra xa f3213, this last week the phone started experiencing problems. for some reason as others have said before, the WiFi and cell radio turn off on their own for no apparent reason. I noticed this only happened when enabling LTE mode on crickets (ATT's network) so unless Sony fixes this before my return period, i will return phone. otherwise this is a fantastic device. Please sony issue a fix for this there are many people complaining about this on XDA and Amazon reviews. any of you on ATT USA have any solutions??
Settings > about phone > is it F3213 or F3113
LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700), 28(700) - F3113
check the network 4G LTE coverage
Mine is the usa version f3213 i dont have signal problems with any other phone is just this one. I am not the only one experiencing this problem in xda there is a thread about it need a solution asap

This is a user based forum, you could contact Sony directly, you could get a brand new SIM card, you could test it in >>> safe mode, you could try different APN settings, speaking off, which APN settings are you using?
This user is 100% correct, you have a current defect in the phone that causes the entire radio to shut off instead of rolling back to HSPA in a weak LTE area. I have experienced this myself and many others are too. Support is no help, they ask to have the software reset through companion and that has no effect, they have no other answers but to send in for service. We need this problem esclated to a higher support level at Sony Xperia, how do we do this?
EDIT: upon futher review (using LTE discovery App) it appears that "some" At&t sites are causing issues staying connected with LTE band 17 on this phone. I drove up to the problem site had a solid, strong signal within 1 block of the tower and band 17 still disconnected the radio completely. As soon as it reset and moved to band 4 it stayed on without dissconnecting until I moved away from the site far enough for band 17 to kick back in. At that point it continued to disconnect every 1 -2 minutes until I moved the phone mode into HSPA preferred. I don't know what to say about this, band 17 works great on 2 towers within 10 miles of here, but this tower causes the phone to go into a fit. Anybody have an opinon on this???
I have what I think is the issue, now if we have any way to get this information to anyone who can actually do something about it. I have 2 sites by my home that the phone works flawlessly on LTE... no dropped LTE signal whatsoever. Here is the difference... they are BAND 17 ONLY sites........ the sites my phone is unable to hold a LTE signal on are both band 4 and 17. That would explain why the rest of the sites around where I work do not maintain a LTE signal as they are all band 4,17. We need to all contact Sony support and somehow get this information thru to them. The issue is the phone clearly being unable to handle a site broadcasting 4 and 17 which I think is a majority of them. Is there anyone in this forum that has connection to someone at Xperia that can get this message out to a tech and get something done about it?
finally someone else who has the same problem as me, i really dont want to return this amazing phone please, sony issue a software fix, for this , i have 5 more days until my return period is up, please sony
