LTE 4G

I bought a Sony Xperia Z from a Sony World outlet in India.

Checked from the shop owner that the same has LTE facility and he said yes.

Later found that the all models of Xperia Z donot have LTE, 

SONY shop sold me model number c6602.

What I read online is that c6602 does not have LTE and only c6603 model has the LTE.

Pl confirm this.

Secondly I was planning to buy a Xperia Z Tablet sold in Indian market.

Would like to know which are the variants sold by SONY in Indian market.

Does all the variants have LTE 4G.

Yup c6602 doesnt support 4g lte

In India 4g is not widespread yet

The xperia tablet z in indian market is not 4g capable

no phone except huawei ascend p1 i think supports 4g lte in india

Can i know how much you paid for it?

I did the same mistake, purchased 6602, (Thanks to Arjun for informing me about the differnce in 6602 and 6603) but i have option to return it, but i am not sure if i will do it.

as all above said C6603 supports LTE.

I waited for 2 months and 20 days back got C6603 model. Sony outlet people are real Idiots. just to push the piece out of the store they bluff whatever it comes out of their mouth.

Go to other outlets like univercel, sangeetha where you can ask for discounts too. I got it for 36k, as there is anniversary offer from sangeetha mobiles

Have you purchased Xperia - Z , C-6603 in India?

Is that model available in India?

I booked Xperia - Z on Snapdeal....where it shows 4G LTE even today & they shipped me C6602 which doea not support 4G.

I feel cheated & highly disapponted from Sony as well....for following these double standards in India .. in international market they are selling c6603 & in India they are giving C6602.

There is no doubt that C6602 is also a wonderful phone but I made my discision to buy Xperia -Z because it supports 4G LTE as mentioned in Snapdeal web. Now after using of more than 2 months i got to know that Sony is shipping differnet models with differnet features....this is unethical way of doing business by SnalDeal as well as Sony.

I have to look for way ...how to get this resolved from Sony of from Snapdeal....any idea?

No, the LTE band that Xperia or Galaxy/Iphone supports is differnt than whats offered in India.... So basically if u have 6603 vs 6602 there is no difference.

I have the option of getting 6603, but i am sticking to 6602 as it will take another 2-3 yrs to get the LTE technology full fleged and also the band India supports. i guess huawei is the only on which has LTE band for India (gues s its 2300 Hz)

Hey i never told you to buy the c6602 i just told you the differences between c6602 and c6603 so please don't point your finger at me it was your choice which made you buy the c6602

And honestly right now in india 4g lte is not widespread until and unless it becomes widespread we are good with our 3g phones as 3g is not that bad

actually C6602 does not have LTE support either does Iphone as well, only C6603 does.

Oops:-) my bad for it sounding like that. I honestly wanted to convey you are the one who told me that there are 2 models, which i was not aware of, nothing else. I purchased my 6602 well before i got inputs from you.

sorry for the confusion Arjun.  So do you have 6002 or 6603? and if its 6603 are u/can u use it?

Thats what i also told. and though 6603 supports LTE, it doesnt support the band used in India. thus 6602 or 6603, doesnt make any differnce for India market.
