Had the phone about 4 days.
Call volume was great.
Since 2 days ago call volume very low. Unusable.
Did a factory reset, did a pc companion update.
Still very low call volume, any ideas?
test it with Service menu

I did the uploads you suggested and completely reinstalled the operating system 398 megs of it.
I then did the ( Open the Dialer and press this *#*#7378423#*#* ) and did both "phone and video microphone tests". Still as before phone mic does not work and video mic very faint.
Is there any setting I have missed or do I have to send it to Sony Australia for them to fix it?
Thanks again for your help.
it seems to be hardware related, you should send it in
