Loudspeaker really quiet after sub-merging in water

Hey guys,

I found the courage and submerged my phone in a jug of water for literally no longer than 30 seconds, 3 days ago. Since then the loudspeaker has turned so quiet it's hard to believe it's the maximum volume. I know it's not the loudest it's been because I tested it against my old Xperia Arc's volume and there's a huge difference!!

I've read similar discussions, and had my phone in a bowl of dry rice overnight and still no improvement. I've only had the phone just under 2 weeks and it wouldn't go down well with my Dad that I have to take it back! I've used a hair drier too but still nothing.

Has anybody had the same problem after a few days?? If so what did you do about it? I have a feeling a trip to in-store is needed Slightly_frowning_Face

Thanks

apart from the fact that this topic has been addressed here on many many threads and "YOU" just started another one because you are too "LAZY" to read

This is a feature of the phone and it needs to dry out - shake it - use a hair dryer - put it somewhere warm for a while......................it needs to dry

and remember - this phone is not a fish - it's a mobile phone, keep it away from water - the sink - the shower - the dishes - the sea - the swimming pool - the bath - impressing your friends in the pub ........keep it out of water
