Lollipop update problems with M2

Yesterday i have updated my M2 with lollipop, After that i am facing couple of issues.

1) Huge battery drainage

2) Memory low issue ( first i have reset the device with wiping all the user data after that i have updated my device. It consumed lots  of memory for OS, after installing 8-10 applications its started showing memory low msg)

3) Calling feature is complecated than before

4) Camera is not clicking pic with touch click

5) Walkman ( music ) most of the features is not available which is available in 4.4 ( headphone selection option is not good )

6) Most of the system application is not using full screen mode

7) Brightness issue ( i was able to see the screen properly at lowest level in 4.4 but not in 5.1 )

Gps is incorrect sometimes, more mistake then correct use.

Also would like to share some experiences with the Lollipop update - M2 single 4G sim free

1) Camera capture detail got worse dramatically, especially in well lit environments. Also confirmed from multiple sources.

2) During install, updater didn't pull my apps installed on SD card. Showed as installed in the apps settings, but not showing in app drawer. Every time I got a notification on an upp not showing installed (while otherwise was) froze the phone and got a force restart. Problem still occurs occasionally when I update some apps, which disappear after updates, being unusable despite shows as installed.

3) Luckily RAM usage got better by a rough 20%, system wide actions, keyboard and animations got way slower and buggier. Better ram handling helps with occasional older force closes on certain apps, so encountered none with 5.1 so far, but all around speed is pretty sad. Phone stutters a lot, animations bug and certain graphics elements disappear or show artifacts. Despite better ram handling, it seems that the phone is still prone to redraw the menu and icons once exiting some apps. I just don't get it...

4) The phone started to generate massive amounts of junk, which I was occasionally wiping with a cleaner. With moderate usage I used to gather like 200 mb junk with spotify, mails and WhatsApp with some news on chrome. Now I can easily get to ~300 in a mere 2-3 hours which is ridiculous. I have to keep cleaning my device 3-4 times a day to ensure a better performance, which was pretty much hit with the update alread.

I was pretty enthusiastic about the update, and think it enhances user experience in many ways, but the execution seems to be a bit poor & shows Sony might have been a bit hasty with pushing out the update. Overall, I'm quite sad with the result as the update hit negatively on those areas which I prefer when choosing a phone for a midrange budget: camera and acceptable day-to-day performance.

I really hope we got to hear about an incoming fix which will hopefully address most of our mentioned issues.

Hi,
Here are some things you can try to help you with your problems:

1) Camera is worse than before and it will need to be fixed by a new update.

2) To solve this problem go to Stettings>Apps>All>Xperia Home and clear data and force close, this will reset the launcher to it's factory state but won't affect or delete any of your files.

3) I can't help you with this, except advise you not to use any third party task killers apart form the stock one.

4) Don't use third party cleaners to clear junk, the junk is in fact cached data. You should clear the cache of an app only if it misbehaves or is sluggish. Junk cleaners do more harm than good. Here is a good article that explains this:

I just want to know if lollipop bugs in m2 is fixed already?

No, Sony still hasn't fixed the bugs.

The only information we have from the support team is that they think the new camera is an improvement, despite the majority of M2 users complaining about the issue.

They haven't said a single word about even trying to fix any of the other bugs, so I doubt they ever plan to release another update/fix for M2/M2 Aqua.

Hi.
My m2aqua is a little worst after i updated the system.
Photos have not the same quality as before and It is more difficult to get the focus.
Several app of mine is hidden somewhere and i have to unistall and install them again.
Internet conection is a little worst as well and gps lost the sinal very often.
How to back to the previous version or get a better one?
