Hi,
I've just received the Lollipop update for my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803) and have encountered some problems with the the security settings. First of all, Bluetooth unlock is completely gone (face unlock as well, but that's not that much of a bother), so my device doesn't unlock when connected to my SmartBand Talk via Bluetooth anymore. Farther, I cannot deactivate my lock screen at all or set it to swipe to unlock (these options are greyed out), but have to use either a pattern or a password, which is really annoying.
If anybody had a solution to this problem, that'd be really great!
P.S.
I included a screenshot of my lockscreen settings.
Good news, it's possible to unlock the device when paired to a trusted device. In order to do so you may try this, it worked with my SW2:
Go in Settings >> Security and scroll down 'til you see Advanced and press "Trust Agents", turn on Smart Lock and then go back.
Scroll up until you see the Smart Lock option and press it, it will ask to confirm your actual pattern or pin then you can select trusted devices, places or faces.
Set up the option that it's more convenient for you and you are set! The screen won't be locked depending what you set up to maintain it unlocked.
Let me know if it works for you.
SWR10 doesn't work as in thread above.
Back to Smart lock - it will ask for PIN from time to time even if device is connected. I think it has some kind of timeout, when device is not used for longer periods it will ask for password once. At least on encrypted phone.
