Live Wt19i Gamepad Circle button problem

Hello guys,My problem is that though I can connect my wireless gamepad to my WT19i using otg by plugging in the receiver and the gamepad can even be used for normal operations like swiping though the menus,etc and in that the circle button is used as the back button. And when i try to use my gamepad in fpse i cannot map the circle button because it acts as the back button. Similar thing happens while playing GTA 3 where i can move using the dpad and left analog but the other buttons don't work and the circle button just acts as back button. I'm on stock GB with root access. Please help me out.

And if I update to the recent ICS firmware will my problem be solved. Or else can you suggest any other rom/kernel which will solve this problem..

check the control's website and/or the XDA forums but most likely it's a game compatibility issue

Not really mate...Because I've seen a similar thing happening with Xperia Play while running Cyanogenmod..The O button causes the same problem but that can be fixed by editing the build.prop. But that too isn't working with my phone...
