Linkedin prevents Stamina mode

Since 2 days, my Xperia tells me Linkedin prevents Stamina mode. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix? Or should i turn to linkedin-support?

Stamina is great but if my linkedin -app frustrates it, ill have to ditch my LinkedIn-app

thanx for your reaction.

@QwertyW

if you white list linkedin app and if you use it often then it will defeat the purpose of stamina mode

I dont use it that often. So i want my Stamina mode to really 'pause' my Linkedin-app. And it used to do that. But not anymore. I also send my question to LinkedIn. I'll let you know what they come up with. My guess is that is has something to do with the way they do their notifications or something like that.

I hope i am being clear. @uliwooly

Hi @QwertyW

To enable and setup Stamina Mode on Sony Xperia M open Settings -> Device -> Power management. Enable Stamina mode by tapping the button next to it, so that it will turn blue or some other color depending on the theme. You will see an icon before network signals a battery between two hands. You can choose which apps to run in standby when stamina mode is activated. Most apps are inactive in this mode. Below ‘Activation’ tap ‘Add applications’ check if Linkedin has not been added to your whitelist so that will run and will not be restricted in stamina mode. I´m at disposal for any question.

Sorry, but that doesnt answer my question. I know how to enable Stamina and how to add apps to the whitelist.

I dont want to add linkedin to that list. I want my Stamina-mode to pause all linkedin activities and notifications when my screen is off. And it used to do that fine. Since a few days . Stamina seems unable to pause my linkedin-notifications. Thats why i get a message that says: 'Linkedin is preventing Stamina mode' . I have disabled all notifications i my Linkedin-app. So now at least my stamina-mode works ok. But now i never get linkedin-notifications. even when my screen is on. So thats not a very permanent solution. I think there is someting wrong with my Linkedin-App. I have asked the linkedin developers about this. But i havent had any reaction yet..

perhaps you guys know of a solution?
