I have a device that came with my Z1 phone that you wear on your wrist and it is supposed to track your activities your health and so forth.

When I try to create an accound using my gmail account dnplcsys, it says to such account exists.  But it does. I can log into it, check my emails so it is there.

Futhermore when I try to creat an account using the life log screen, i am told my password does not match.  I have tried several different password combinations at the creat account screen, but to no avail.  I simply can't get two password lines to match no matter how carefully i type them in.

so basically this bracelet thing is uselss to me.  What can I do?  Please help.

There are no plans on making it possible to log in to a SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) account using a Google™ account for Xperia™ devices on markets where SEN is available.

With this being the case please do ensure that it is your SEN account that you are using to login. If you are having difficulty creating an SEN account via the phone you may want to try directly via their site:
