You need Kitkat (4.4.2) to use Smartband and Lifelog.

In any case, has there been any word or information as to whether Sony is devoting time into resolving this issue? My experience with Smartband had not been good as I am using an Xperia Z

I waited earnestly for Xperia Z to get the necessary Kitkat update in order to use the Smartband. but Kitkat for Xperia Z created a very bad battery drain problem that was not resolved until recently. Now Lifelog creates a problem...

Hi,

could someone answer for questions and reported issues here? (See the link.)

Is there a way to get back the normal behaviour?

Thanks.

Xperia Z (Andorid 4.4.4 lastest firmware, I didn't try with older firmwares), Lifelog (2.1.A.0.10 ) and SmartBand SWR10.

¡¡BATTERY DRAIN!!! and LifeLog prevents Stamina to go Deep Sleep.

Solved if I go Settings - Logger, and Uncheck the Activities checkbox.

I have no problems with the Z2.

Hi,

I have Z Ultra and the latest firmware as well.
If I would turn Activity recording off no physical movement would be recorded. It is not an option I do sport activity.
On the other hand it records my running as transportation and so on. There are several inaccuracies at the moment so the Lifelog app is not so trusted.
On the other hand sometimes it works almost well enough but sometimes measurements are completely messy. And it is with vibration notifications as well.
I like sony products but now I am disapointed. It seems to me that they released a beta version product and maybe they test it on customers.

Is there any way to auto adjust the steps distance using GPS from phone?

I guess no option on the other hand it would not be so precise due to the inaccuracy of the available free GPS coordinates.
