Landscape doesn't display correctly

Hi, when in portrait, all my icons display correctly but if I switch to landscape the icons stay in portrait mode. ie they don't populate the screen correctly. The phone is 5 days old. I've rebooted twice. Any ideas anyone? Ta. Al.

The home launcher won't rotate, neither the app drawer, you will need a third party home launcher for them to rotate.

I have a third party app, it used to work like a charm on the Z3 Compact but it doesn't work on the Z5, irrespective of what I do I can't set it up to work correctly on the home screen or the app draw. I took it to the Telstra shop and the guy played with it for about 20 minutes and got the same results as me.... ie. No luck.

you will have to contact the app developer regarding this issue, the app not working with the Z5, you could try a different home launcher

OK, got it sorted to an acceptable level with my old app.. I've taken screen shots and will try and post them tomorrow. In regards to the bottom line dropping off, I think there is an issue with the way the code is written.

It's still something the app developer needs to address, not Sony.

@Vindis, I will get on to the app developer, but to be honest, I feel on such a device as the z5 compact, at the price that we pay for it, and the fact that it's 3 to 4 deep in the development Row, ie. Not cutting edge technology, I shouldn't have to use third party apps for such a simple procedure. To be dead honest, if it weren't for the fact that the waterproof feature works so well and is what I require, I would quite happily use another brand as I find the Z series or Sony most likely, to be full of bloatware.
