Keyboard problem

Hi, i have a problem with my keyboard. I have sony xperia U. It switched to japanese, and before it was regular xperia keyboard. How can i switch back to regular?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Sounds like the input method have been changed. If you have Android-version 2.3, go to a new message > Press the text field > Press and hold at the text field for 2-3 seconds > Choose input method.

If you have Android-version 4.0, you go to a new message > Press the text field > When you see the keyboard, drag down the status field and choose input method.

You can see the Android-version via Settings > About phone > Android-version.
