Keyboard langauge when texting

The screen on the X10 mini pro is pretty small, but why make it even smaller when texting by taking up the bottom portion of the screen with the language of the keyboard? I do not envisage myself ever needing to change the keyboard language, well except for when I have changed it by mistake, by accidently hitting the language bar that shouldnt be there?

May be because a good portion of SE customers are like me, multilingual?

Even if that was the case, who the hell would need that option everytime they write a text???

Actually I do. I switch between 2-3 languages in one SMS. However, I see your point and I think it best to reflect this to SE.

Sometimes those software designers have no common sense.
