Keep wifi On during sleep "inverted" ?

In " Keep Wifi-fi on during sleep"

I choose "Always" then the phone auto turn off wifi when screen is off.

I choose "never (increase data usage)" then wifi is always on.

I think the phone should Always turns on the wifi (when the screen ON or OFF)  when I choose "Always" . But it performs inverted.

Is it right? or I misunderstand?

I turned off Stamina and Low battery Mode.

When phone goes to sleep if it's always then it keeps the wifi connection alive
If its off then then it disconnects wifi and starts using mobile data

The problem is if it is always, the wifi disconnected when phone sleeps.

If you have a xperia E c1505 you can check it yourself.

It should be "always" - keep wifi on during sley
And "never" keep wifi on during sleep
I think you found A bug..... Never tested though

Same problem here, xperia e c1505 Keep wifi On during sleep "inverted" too.

I've tried repair using PC Companion, but no luck.

Any solution yet?

I know this is a old thread, but i just want to say that the "bug" (if it is) is still here.

When i set the WiFi to be always on, it goes off when the screen goes to sleep and when set to never be on, the WiFi stays on when the screen goes to sleep.

Not really a deal breaker, but still, on should be ON and off should be OFF.
