Jelly Bean? Sony agreed to 18months updates after the release day, is Sony keeping their word?

in I/O 2011 Sony Ericsson agreed to update for AT LEAST 18 months their devices, the Xperia Arc was released April 2011 which means that it should receive updates up to October but how about the LT15a which was released later on 2011 does it mean that it will get updates until december more or less?

but the MOST important question is, Is Sony going to keep their promise to update their phones for AT LEAST (not up to) AT LEAST 18months as Sony agreed at I/O 2011 ?

I hope to release sony Jelly bean to my Live With Walkman (WT19a)

my cel is well almost the same characteristics as those of the Sony U

that even Google and Sony have already said that the first phone with 4.1.1 is:

4. Sony Xperia Ion

3. Sony Xperia U and S

2. Sony Xperia Sola

and the principal

1. Sony Xperia Z

that is all the information I could in member all over the internet, i was very tired looking for it, but still no information of the other 2012 or 2011 Xperias:smileyconfused:

I just want to say one thing Sony if you're reading this you had better take off ICS k us that only works 70% to 95% compared to GB

one last thing let me tell you that the same sony affirm that GB is better than ICS so as he said that is all we need in the Xperia JB 2011

or as you see it

Do we need or not?:smileymischief:

JB isnt such a large update as Gingerbread > ICS, hence it is considered lighter in that respect as there isnt so many changes as the GB > ICS update and thist is further indicated by the version number being 4.1 instead of 5.0, however specification wise JB will probably need the same/similair specs to those that were required to run ICS, hopefully this will mean that any phone that can run ICS can also run JB, so in that respect its similar Slightly_smiling_Face

well that was hard because I was looking all over the Internet looking for me at least agree that the first information about the Xperia Ion's found on page Free Android / Android 4.1.1

the others but I find I burn the pages

supposedly on the page Free Android Sony said would give your information depending on the SDK and when Google released the code but I'm not sure where to find it

if I help you find information better to be well up to date with the likely upgrade you can make Sony the Xperia would be more than good:smileymischief:

I find it hard to believe that Sony would talk about other OEMs like sony as to when they will release or how will they update their phones, and also that Sony releasing this info as they aren't transparent, they need to change their way, this is the 2012 not 1980

Series of ANDROID when compared to MS windows

2.3 GB -> win xp (no animation, no visual themes, etc)

4.0 ICS -> win vista (slow, visual effects, etc)

4.1 JB -> win 7 (faster, lighter, etc)

Jelly Bean

Android 4.1, Jelly Bean

Android 4.1, Jelly Bean, is the fastest and smoothest version of Android yet. Jelly Bean improves on the simplicity and beauty of Android 4.0, and introduces a new Google search experience on Android.

  • Everything in Jelly Bean feels fast, fluid, and smooth. Moving between home screens and switching between apps is effortless, like turning pages in a book.
  • Jelly Bean features improved performance throughout the system, including faster orientation changes, faster responses when switching between recent apps, and smoother and more consistent rendering across the system through vsync and triple buffering.
  • Jelly Bean has more reactive and uniform touch responses, and makes your device even more responsive by boosting your device's CPU instantly when you touch the screen, and turns it down when you don't need it to improve battery life.
