Between that and AT&T, I'm highly tempted to just take the phone back and start over with something else.

Hi!

I switch to cynogen 6.1.3 update v06, everything went smoth but the baseband is showing UNKNOWN (i was on cyonogen mod v4 and the baseband was 54 and everything was working fine).

Due to this my phone has no network reception. On XDA forum it says :

3. When Baseband is Unknown you need to Crash System Server with Development App [Bad Behaviour] or reflash Baseband/ROM.

I do not know what does it mean or how to do it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated as i have started to be a little panic.

thanks

I had to do that when I flashed baseband 55 to the exact same rom. You'll get your radio signal back as soon as you do what you said. When I couldn't find it, I discovered that this set of buttons is not in Settings, you go thru the window panes of all the apps and find the picture of gears. It will be labeled "Dev Tools". It's in there, the bad behavior button, and the crash system server is only a third the way down the list inside bad behavior. Give it time. Mine took a while to reboot. Click crash and wait, you'll be fine after it reboots, you will see your radio signal again.

worked for an evening but I played to much in it and I finally had to put back original rom because reflashing custom rom didn't worked.

I'll have to wait a moment that my buisness is less active because I can't be phoneless while experimenting.

I'll probably plan with someone knowledgeable (like one of you) a skype live session in order to make it and test it properly.

iMediaShare (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bianor.ams) is much better option. It is probably the most downloaded mobile media server from Android Market today. And it is free;-)
