Issues regarding accepting and dialing phone calls

Whenever I make a call from my Xperia L, after 2 or 3 seconds the Call timer shows up and starts increamenting. Without any dailing tone in the speakers. When I End the call (without making a successful call to anyone), the ring of the called person's phone alerts for a second and then stops. 
Whenever I recieve a call the caller listens to my voice perfectly while i dont listen to anything..

This issue has freaked me out now. I've tried factory reset option and repair my phone option from PC companion but nothing helped. Should I claim the warrenty of the phone or is there any method by which this problem can be fixed by myself?

I'll be grateful if someone posts the solution of this solution. Thanks in advance

You could try to put in another or a new SIM card in your phone to see if there may be a SIM/network problem.

ry to put in another SIM card in your phone and see if the problem gone, it will be Network\SIM problem

Well I tried alot of things like repairing the OS from PC companion but nothing worked. 

But 1 day later everything started working perfectly. I have no idea what just happened

Hi..i am using sony experia l fone..i am facing a problem in making conference calls...weneverbi try to merge to two calls ,a error message displays " cannot switch calls".... I have checked with my airtel subscriber as well...there is no problem at tht end...there seems to be some problem in fone..pls help!
