Issues playing videos online?

Hi!
I have a brand new Sony Xperia V, Android version 4.3. I've realised that I have a bit if trouble playing videos online. No problems playing my own videos. Like on Facebook or YouTube for example. It happens for most videos, I tap "play", and immediately get a pop up box notifying me that the video cannot be played. If I clear the pop up and tap play again, after a few tries it always works, it's just a tad annoying.
