is xperia z1 worth buying .. I m interested in buying it ..

Although I own a xperia ion which was the worst experience with sony but then I bought xperia sp which according to me is perfect mobile but while reading all the issues about xperia z1 I am bit confused about buying it please help me out .... Please help me ..I don't want to waste my father's money as I did on buying xperia ion ..of which I today have a burden on me .but this time I dont want to waste my fathers money ..please help me .... from India

Yeah! Why not? Its a very good phone and the latest 4.4.4 update also enhances its power. It will give u decent backup throughout the day and also will give u a good camera experience. Also it is water and dustproof which is big factor. Unlike many other high end phones u can insert micro sd card. So go for it. U will feel good whn a premium device like this will fill ur hand.

I would think carefully.

There are many issues with this model, screen cracking, phones bending, bluetooth not working, disappointing camera e.t.c

Personally I would think very carefully, the Z2 also has similar issues and I think all are hoping the Z3 will be the top end phone with reasonable attention to quality that is missing from current/past models.

I don't recommend buying. Two main issues bugging me:

1. Display is not top end. The contrast ratio varies over viewing angle and it feels like it uses a low cost display component.

2. Camera app freezes now and then. Various forum threads started but all Sony support could suggest is to boot to safe mode.

Went from the Xperia SP to the Z1 just a week ago. When I bought the phone, it was already on Kitkat and I have no issue with my Z1 for now. There was indeed some camera freezes but that rarely happens. I don't have this bent issue or self cracked display but I have always believe that this happened on first batch production of the Z1. Still too early to say though but I don't think you will regret it.

And camera is amazing I have to tell you.
