Hi, I wanted to know whether the bugs in the ICS for live walkman are fixed or not. I have been reading discussions here and it seems that upgrading to ICS is NOT such a good idea. So I wanted to consult fellow Live Walkman owners before I made the "jump of faith". Is the ICS bug free now or should I wait for a while before upgrading ?? Please reply. People's reviews and opinions matter a lot to me.PLease friends, if you have any thoughts, write them here. I am relying on you guys.

Thanks for replying Sohel4r. Many people have put updates on the forum that ICS for Live Walkman has many bugs. So I wanted to be sure whether the bugs are still there or not. Sony has made it clear that once we install ICS, it cannot be rolled back to GB. And I think having a bug free GB is better than updating to ICS with annoying defects. Thanks again for your reply.

It might depend what you use, but so many have and are complaining, wanting JB with fixes incorporated, a music player at least as good as the GB one, and the compass fixed. This looks very unlikely to happen, being the model is 2 yrs old and 'Walkman' branding is oficially discontinued in the phone product line.

I'm still enjoying a bug free GB and nobody has reported a valuable improvement over that. I certainly wouldnt downgrade to ICS if there was no returning to GB possible. I use Flashtool for any tweaks, PC companion is so bad I deleted it, so cant comment if that will allow rollbacks.

ICS is buggy in LWW.Only 5% are lucky with ICS update for LWW.Rest are facing problems.

Wait for 2-3 months and see if sony release any firmware update to LWW.If no update provided by Sony ,then it is up to you to upgrade.I do not suggest it.You will not able to play games smoothly as in GB and led notification stop working and ear-phone volume become low.LWW is only one year old.It was released in october 2011.It has recently completed its one year ,so we can still expect something from SONY.Atleast THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PHONE BY GET ICS glitches FIXED AND a new WALKMAN APP(Providing A new walkman app with custom equalizer is not a big deal seriously for SONY as they have provided it to their new phones but still they haven't provided it to their last walkman phone ).
