Internet not working though sim

I have Prepaid BSNL SIM (BSNL North). APN setting are correct. When I open chrome browser for any website, it displayed  Wi-Fi and mobile data are turned off. The Mobile data in settings is in ON position. 

Browser works well on Wi-Fi only.

1. Do you have a data plan? 
2. Do you have any intrusive app? (taskiller, task manager, antivirus, ram apps, booster apps, battery apps)
3. Do you have the correct APN settings? (post your current APN settings)

Definitely apn settings are incorrect contact bsnl service center or try these settings(only change these)

connection name :BSNLNET

access point name(apn): bsnlnet

and try to set  authentication normal if it does not work set to none 

data bearer to GPRS or leave it to unspecified

You do not need to do manual settings. Just go to Settings>Xperia>Internet Settings and it will fetch it for you. But dude you need to have an Internet Plan for your mobile to work on Mobile Data :)

I do have Internet Plan. I tried for automatic setting through Xperia >Internet settings. The msg is <Select Operator> and shows only two operators 1. Cellone South 2. Cellone East. but Cellone North does not appear in options. I have selected Network mode as WCDMA(prefered)/GSM
