I have seen the long discussion that many of you have had with Data connectivity issues regarding the Xperia S/ SL. I have a 3G connection. However for the past 2/3 days I notice that the data connectivity sucks. The signal is strong, the E symbol appears over the bands, but there is no data connectivity and if it's there it's slow and intermittent. Only Wi-fi works. SoI have done the following:
a) Downloaded the Internet and MMS setting again and again and again and again.
b) Reinstalled my SIM card
c) Switched on and off my mobile
d) Checked and re-checked and re-re-re-re-checked the APN settings and registered with the Mobile Networks option again and again and again and again.
e) I have raised a complaint with the service provider - Vodafone
f) I am afraid to repair software as it might wipe out data and am not sure if it helps
g) I find that I have a Build number 6.2.B.200 with a Baseband version 8660-AAABQOLYM-314010-32 with Android version 4.1.2
Can ANYONE from Sony Support tell me what is to be done so that the Internet connectivity can be from my service provider can be restored? Or will we be greeted by silence?

E means that you're connected with EDGE which is GSM/2G and not 3G. If you should have access to 3G in your area, check with your operator if they can see any problem.
