internal storage

Dears,

I just bought my sony xperia V after surfing the internet(sony site) for thespecification of the phone only to discover that the internal storage is not up to the speciied capacity. I found 4GB internal storage instead of 8Gb. I met with my supplier only for him to show me a similar phone with 4Gb internal storage.

My question is are there application that has used up ther remaining 4gb or the product I bought is a sub-standard one. Can someone xplain wat could wrong.

you have 8GB at all

but from that 8GB abot 800mg is for system firmware..1gb is system reserved+ram

and then what is left that ios shown as free space that you can use it

i have SP with8gb memory..i have 5.2free to use
