Internal Storage

My new xperia p shows total internal memory as 11.26gb only, on the site it shows that internal storage is 13gb(user accessible).I even removed some preinstalled apps but it didn't even touch  12 gb.Anyone knows whats wrong with my xperia.

I guess all XP have this much of storage only. Mine also 11.26 GB.

I cannot remember where I read it, but 2GB is reserved for app use + 11GB for media resulting in the grand total of 13GB.

Internal phone storage: 16GB (up to 13GB user-accessible memory)

This is based on OS applications and any form of branding that may be required from the network providers.
