internal storage

So, my mums phone was playing up (not charging, switching itself off and on). So thought before I even do a factory reset or anything i'll transfer all of the photos to the sd card. But in doing so, it's lost the majority if it, even though there was plenty of room for it to go across. It's no where to be found. When I go in to file Commander, it says it's empty.

You lost the photos when you transferred them to external SD?

Yeah. only a handful went across to SD. Even though there was/is ample room. The files in Internal storage now say empty.

Does the microSD work fine? I suspect it might be defective.How did you transfer them?

Yeah. Well I thought so. Theres an option I found in the menus to transfer to sd card.

Settings > storage > transfer data to sd card

I do not know if that might be the issue,I always transfer with file explorer or computer.Can you keep an eye on the microSD for a while?

It seems fine. It's baffled me where all the other files have gone.

Keep us updated about the card.From now on,use only file explorers to move files.
