Internal Mic problem

I have ICS installed on my Xpreria P. Last night I was using Skype with my Handsfree set but When i hanged the call and exited skype, my internal Mic stopped working. EVerytime I make a call by 'Network' it shows a "Mic Mute" symbol always
and when i press the button to unmute the Mic, it does nothing.So kindly help me to get red out of this.

have you tried normal calls with loudspeaker on? so you can test the mic if they can hear you or not using loudspeaker on.

Try once at the time:

1- Restart your phone to see if it works( restart by pressing the power botton and the volume key up at the same time)

2- Unnistall skype and restart your phone

3-Back up your phone to prevent any loss of data

4-Reset  Setting( in back up menu you can find this opcion). All the setting will be reset but your data will stay

5-If all above did not work, repair your phone with sony companion.

Remember to back up your data first!

I tried to repiar it via PC companion but it gives Error that "The phone software is modifed and it can't be updated".
Can yu tell me how to get reid out of this?

iNTERNAL mic works fine with the other mic using Apps xcept the Default dial pad/calling app.
