Intermittent Issue

Hi All,

Had my Z2 for about 3 weeks and already having some intermittent issues with it that are driving me nuts. I've tried restoring the phone, rebooting, completely erasing all data and starting fresh, nothing seems to be working.

The issue is that when I have the screen on the phone will just decide to start pressing things on its own (opening apps, closing apps,  zooming on Web pages, changing what Page I'm on, basically just anything random and sometimes will stop after a few seconds, sometimes after 10-15 seconds and sometimes won't stop at all unless I turn the phone off and back on.

I initially thought it may be a software issue but I've tried e

everything I can with the software so maybe it's a hardware fault from factory? Only asking here before I get Vodafone to send it back to sony to be checked as that's my last resource and don't want to be waiting weeks for the outcome if there's something else I can do before that. If not ill just send it in.

Do you have any screen protector applied?

Yes I do. But surely the screen protector couldn't be causing the issue intermittently. One would think it would be doing if all the time if the screen protector was the cause?

I have seen this before,that is why I think of it.But you do not have to take my suggestion of removing the screen protector.
