imported xperia u

i am living in india and i have an imported xperia u working in GingerBr.

can i update my xperia u to indian ics firmware officially or i have to go for firmaware of the country from where i imported(which i dont want),

as i heard indian update is the best.

will there be any conflict if the build is from another country.

thanks

the phone will get updates based on availability on the original country, if you want the Indian firmware you will have to manually flash your phone

check the XDA forum for the India firmware and you can follow the steps on this thread

How to manually update, debrand, downgrade, root 2012 Xperias

so if mine is from UAE then  i will only get updates released for uae and not for india. and i cannot select  firmware@ the time of installation.

so without flashing i cant go for indian.

that means i cant directly update from either pc companion or sus

will need 3rd party aid.

and for my confirmation  falashing break warranty(even i dont have one)?

exactly, this is true to most if not all phones/brands.

flashing your phone "Could" void your warranty, it varies per region/country and/or phone. click on the link above and click on warranty
