[IMPORTANT] LED BUG & LOCKSCREEN BUG -> Update is coming!

I have some great news for you!

I recently spoke with a customer service representative from Sony and he has assured me that Sony is aware of the problems.

There will be both fixed, the lockscreen notifications AND the notification LED (for SMS and WhatsApp, etc.)!

The update will be rolled out within the next 2 to 3 weeks.

This is valid at least for Germany;) But I think that everyone else will get the update to a similar time!

Seit dem Upgrade auf Android 4.0.4 ICS funktioniert die LED Benachrichtigung bei eingehenden SMS oder anderen Apps (wie Whatsapp etc.) bei niemandem mehr!

Des Weiteren wird keine Lockscreen Benachrichtigung angezeit, wenn eine SMS eingegangen ist oder man einen Anruf verpasst hat.

Im Namen von vielen unzufriedenen Kunden würde ich gerne wissen, ob und vor allem wann ein Update kommt, dass diese Probleme wieder behebt!

S***:  Ja, beide Probleme werden mit dem kommenden Update behoben werden.

Me:  Klasse, das freut mich. Können Sie mir / uns einen ungefähren Zeitraum nenne, wann das Update ausgerollt wird?

S***:  Ich gee davon aus, dass das Update in den nächsten 2 Wochen ausgeliefert werden sollte.

I think this is simply not true. Why should the LED  function drain the battery faster in ICS? :smileygrin:

I just found out that another new firmware was just released yesterday (19th June 2012)
for both WT19i and WT19a,
Sony Xperia Live With Walkman. So, this can conclude that Sony did have bugs fix update for us, is it?

those are for specific markets like the 2.3.4 .69 was for Germany only, there was another one with a letter C and that was for Israel.

no, that's the Build Number not the android version

the ONLY phone that will get it, if the rumors are true, is the current Nexus phone and in few months the rest of android.

Rumours show that 4.1 is Jelly Bean (check this out). I highly doubt that the 2011 Xperia's will get Jelly Bean, I think that Sony may only release Jelly Bean to the 2012 Xperia's in the future.
