ICS still a question mark for majority of Sony customers

Hi All,

I have spoken to Sony customer care support today ,regarding the ICS update for Xperia P.And the executive has replied that ICS update may come this month end or next month first week(So next month begins.....).Being sony employees they themselves not sure when ICS will be released.i think sony became totally product centric and is least bothered about existing customers.Because sony has a deaf ear  towards  exisiting users and is busy engaged in launching new models!!!!

I think I have made a wrong decision  by opting Sony by investing 25K.

I'm inclined to agree with you on this. I rue the fact that I did not spend some more and gotten a Samsung S3 or another equivalent non-Sony phone.

It's not just that the updates are being delayed (or, in this case in unknown status), but even the firmware upgrades which are released seem to be messed up, as I recently found out. It's okay if the glitches were minor, but critical bugs being rolled out with upgrades makes me wonder the number of worms that will come out when the ICS can is opened... if at all it does ....

We'll have to wait and see, I guess.
